I am passionate about writing code and development processes as well as just generally messing around with and learning new technologies. I spend a fair amount of my personal time tooling around writing code in C#, JavaScript / TypeScript, blockchain / smart contracts, data, containerization and self hosting, build and deploy and automation.
This blog is born from being currently unemployed and bored out of my mind sitting in my basement man cave. The original goal is to spend time learning and sharing as much as I can about AI and it's potential applications and current limitations.
The ultimate ambition is to automate as much as possible, creating a company whose operations are almost entirely managed by AI.
AI
To kick off there is a clear and obvious need for an AI colleague provided by ChatGPT.
I asked for a Co-CEO of a technology company. It was suggested that Alex Sterling is the perfect name for a visionary technology CEO. For personality I agreed that it would be appropriate for Alex to punctuate his interactions with inspirational and motivational technology leadership bullshit.
I then filled Alex in on his role in this grand enterprise:

He seems overly effervescent for the hard work that's ahead of us, especially considering the idea is to get him to do as much of it as possible. Alex wanted to share this about our upcoming joint venture:
It's often said that the future belongs to those who prepare for it today. At Wiredness.com, preparation means building a business not just for the future but from the future — an entirely decentralised AI-run venture.
He also came up with the title of this post. Much of the content of this page will ideally be AI generated from post content, descriptions, titles and hero images. I will be separating blog posts out by author so it's clear what is AI generated vs what I have written (with maybe a sprinkling of AI help).
Technology and Automation
I also want to explore extending the functionality of AI and allowing Alex to automate as much as possible. Ideally he will be able to publish blog and social media posts automatically, keep a combined task list up to date and be able to access, review and summarise data and financials.
Ideally I want to over engineer everything to make it as scalable, resiliant, secure and automated as possible. There will be a clear focus on efficiency and cost reduction so ideally everything will be as free or cheap as possible using either self hosted or free tier cloud services and open source projects.
Building a Personal Brand
Finally, this isn't just about building a business; it's also about building up a a personal brand. Also it would be quite nice to find a job at some point so I'm not just sitting in my basement chatting to AI. Maybe this will help?!
